From the beginnings of genomic era Aberekin opted firmly in this technology as a basic tool in the selection process in its animal breeding program.

The more selection accuracy, the lower generation intervals and the major impact in genetic improvement obtained in the last years confirm the benefits of the use of this technology.

Aberekin cooperates in all the initiatives carried out between Conafe, INIA, MARM and the Spanish breeding programs for the development of genomics and to get the major genetic progress of cattle population. Aberekin participates in Eurogenomics too.
